Lindsay and Zach’s love story began on a cold winter day in 2017, when the two met skating on a pond at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario. The day was organized through mutual friends and family - shout out to Erin and Mason!

At the end of the outing (with total confidence), Lindsay told Mason that his cousin Zach was cute, and that he should give Zach her number. Mason did just that and Zach proceeded to text Lindsay. After a bit of talking back-and-forth, they set up their first date.

Zach picked up Lindsay at her house, and she wasn’t exactly sure what was planned for the evening. They pulled up to a sushi restaurant and Lindsay immediately told Zach that she didn’t like sushi. Without even stepping out of the car, Zach pivoted and found a little restaurant in Hamilton called Incognito where they ended up having a lovely meal, followed by lots of laughs at a comedy club. Their love grew over the months, and by the time the weather was warm, the two were inseparable.

Over the years, they have pushed each other to grow and be the best versions of themselves, acquiring a cat, dog, and house along the way. Zach proposed to Lindsay in Mexico on her birthday last year, down by the beach with tiki torches, flowers, and a heart lined in the sand.

Lindsay now loves sushi, and the two of them go for all you can eat sushi on a regular basis. They love the life that they have built together and are excited to finally take the next step in their relationship in front of their dearest friends and family this May!
